To celebrate the 25th anniversary of Woodford Reserve, Master Distiller Chris Morris and Assistant Master Distiller Elizabeth McCall laid down a new whiskey Monday. The distillery will host a series of commemorative experiences open to the public this week.
All through October, the distillery will be offering special tastings, bespoke cocktails, and on the 15th, Master Distiller Chris Morris and Assistant Master Distiller Elizabeth McCall will sign bottles for customers.
“We are planning for the future as we see no signs that the bourbon boom is slowing down,” Morris said. “More and more consumers worldwide are discovering one of the greatest exports from Kentucky — bourbon. And they are especially enjoying Woodford Reserve.”
The Future for Woodford Reserve
The distillery has always been a Kentucky landmark, and it continues to expand its operations as it grows in popularity.
There will be a new building that will house utilities and storage space for all needed to keep production running smoothly without needing anything outside of their property lines. There will also be a new training center for employees that will help ensure they can produce high-quality whiskey consistently over time.
We can’t wait to see what other innovations come from one of bourbon’s best with this latest update.
