  • Intro:

Distilled in TN, KY and IN, this release contains 5, 6, 7 and 10 year old barrels. Bottled at cask strength, this 114.34 proof release drops with an MSRP of $85 and contains a blend of straight whiskeys. Let's dive on in.

  • Nose:

Floral and tannin forward, there's plenty going on in the nose alone. Sweet honey, a touch of lemon peel and toffee. Not a sign of ethanol or a prickle of heat, rich and enticing.

  • Taste:

Rich texture on the palate - the proof carries really well, with plenty of flavor along for the ride. Toffee, baking spice, nougat and a creme brulee character blend nicely with pralines, apple pie, cherry cordial and a bold, buttery back palate.

  • Finish:

Rich and dessert forward on the finish once more, rich brown butter, maple candies, honeydew, cherry cordial candies and bourbon balls see this one out.

  • Overall:

An absolute banger of a batch, this release is up there with the greats and recent hits in the line. Fans of flavorful bourbon and great complexity without having to turn up the ABV to blistering volumes will delight in this dessert forward batch that carries plenty of enticing fruit notes when you stop to look for them.
