Excerpt: The smoke character is somewhat stronger here, leading the whisky to a powerful, almost pungent finish. A few petrol notes add a lightly industrial element to the mix — think the sweat and tears of industry, not bulk chemicals, that is.
Excerpt: The palate is oaky and drying, not as luscious as the aroma suggests, showing vanilla and spice, plus hints of baked apple and cocoa. Adding water brings out more nutty flavor and a whiff of smoke.

Smokey, fruity and sweet. Mild pear and apple with a healthy smokey tone.
Its a little smokey, there's some mild salty/ salted caramel notes. Mild fruitiness as well. All in all, this dram just tastes....mild. There's some yummy dark chocolate at the end though. Its not bad, but it doesn't have an amazing amount of character.
Its short - medium. The finish is smokey and satisfying and quite enjoyable, despite anything notable taste wise.
I'm less impressed with this dram than many other mildly smokey drams I've had. Its not bad, but it's also not that noteworthy. A good middle of the road glass if something mild and a little smokey is what you're after.
