  • Intro:

This is an undisclosed single malt from Blackadder, bottled at cask strength with no coloring or filtering. Let's dive in.

  • Nose:

Almond, toffee, fresh buttered bread. Pralines, cream, caramel and custard.

  • Taste:

Thick, rich, creamy and savory. Nougat, apple, pear, tangerine, pepper and faint heat.

  • Finish:

Long, but hotter than the nose or palate. Apples, almonds, cream and vanilla, pepper and berry. Fresh baked cake.

  • Overall:

Delicious but a fairly familiar profile. Still good, complex and delicious.
