  • Excerpt: Powerful, savory, delightful - this release has a funk and a cocoa presence I've not gotten from Booker's in a long spell. It's interesting to say the least, and a funky, dessert pour to say the most.

  • Intro:

Distilled by Beam, aged for 6 years, 4 months and 21 days, and labeled as Granny's Batch, this is the first 2020 release of Booker's from Beam and company.

  • Nose:

Chocolate truffles, peanut butter cookie, toffee, cocoa, rich fudge and buttered popcorn.

  • Taste:

Rich mouthfeel, buttery, loaded with toffee, caramel and peanut butter cookies. Like a flaming nutter butter cookie with cocoa and some butterscotch. Powerful, the heat is in check, but it’ll sneak up on you.

  • Finish:

Long finish. The heat presents itself more here, pairing nicely with vanilla bean, cocoa, toffee, pralines and a long, peanut butter chocolate finish.

  • Overall:

Powerful, savory, delightful - this release has a funk and a cocoa presence I've not gotten from Booker's in a long spell. It's interesting to say the least, and a funky, dessert pour to say the most.

  • Score:
