  • Intro:

Distilled and bottled by James B. Beam and launched in December 2022, this is the final release of Booker's 2022 collection. This batch is named after Booker Noe’s dad, the original Frederick Booker Noe, who was called Pinkie by his family and friends. Bottled at a powerful 122.4 proof and aged six years, 10 months and 10 days, Booker's "Pinkie's Batch" was launched in limited quantities for a suggested retail price of $89.99.

  • Nose:

Bold and funky with peanut brittle, honey, toffee, tobacco, praline and sweet, sweet caramel. The nose is enticing, with the proof deceptive and hidden.

  • Taste:

Moderate mouthfeel, nice and rich without a bite of ethanol or a numbing experience across the palate. Sweet cocoa, cream, toffee, a light peanut brittle note, some Nutter Butters. It’s Booker’s through and through.

  • Finish:

Long finish with graham cracker, peanut brittle, caramel and an awesome tobacco and raisin bread note.

  • Overall:

Overall, this batch was a great one to cap off 2022. Oddly not punishing on the palate like the Booker’s releases of the past, it’s an easy sipper for a barrel-proof beast that tackles Booker’s core flavor profile of peanut brittle with ease.
