Sweet laddie cream and lactic funk, lots of dough and honey. Maybe some faint sherried notes but nothing too prominent. Little char, mild sea air. Overall, light, sweet and mildly briney
Sweet doughy honey - this reminds me very much of the NAS but a little more complex. Lots of fruity melon, lactic sour notes with a sweet, yeasty conclusion
Medium in length, grows sweeter and the char peeks out a little bit.
This is a no nonsense, enjoyable dram. Its nothing crazy, nothing too deep but also not flawed in any asppect. Perhaps its a bit light, but some evenings thats just what the mood wants. Im going to give this a Rank 6. It doesnt blow me away but it does what it does well. If I wanted crazy potent deep flavors, Id reach for Octo or perhaps some big finished whiskey. This is simple and elegant.
