Intro:
This is a Diageo product line that used to be contract distilled by Four Roses in KY. The new producer is undisclosed.
Nose:
Caramel, honey, pepper, clove, faint tobacco, light grain.
Taste:
Thin to medium mouth feel. Corn, honey, young green youth notes. Light pepper, some astringency, clove, faint tobacco.
Finish:
Short, hot, toffee, vanilla, pepper, faint mustiness.
Overall:
While not super complex, Bulleit Bourbon is a popular bar staple given it's approachability though it's probably best mixed.
