House Review

Intro:
I tasted this dram blind and then got the reveal at a later time, so keep that in mind as you read through these notes.
Nose:
Figs, honey, sherry, strawberry. Raspberry. Toffee, light tobacco. Faintly musty.
Taste:
Sweet fig. Honey, dates. Syrupy and sweet. Toffee, bit of ethanol. Nice oak. Some tobacco. Super jammy.
Finish:
Long, growing ashy, sweet and loaded with stewed fruits. Ash, minerality, light smoke, sea air. Toffee. Currants.
Overall:
Nice jammy nose and palate with a long, complex and sweet / smoky finish. Big fan.
