33 Years
This is a 33 year old grain whiskey that is bottled at cask strength under the Douglas Laing line for KLWines in California.
Honey, caramel, toffee, faint fruitiness, creme brulee.
Thick, rich, dessert-y. Vanilla, honey, caramel. Oak, pepper, rich tobacco. Faint passion fruit.
Short to medium. No heat. Sweet creme brulee. Caramel, vanilla, faint cocoa.
Surprisingly, this is complex, sweet and delicious. Tasted blind, I'm certain I would not have pinned this for a grain product. I enjoyed it very much.
