Excerpt: Though the faux-apple flavor overwhelms, it's still soft and sweet on the palate, showing some whisky backbone. Mix with ginger ale or club soda for an easy-sipping highball.
Excerpt: The world is probably not expecting much from Crown Royal Regal Apple, but in a world soon to be overrun by apple-flavored hooch, it’s probably as good as can be expected.
Excerpt: For what it is (an underproofed, heavily dosed and sweetened artificial whiskey based flavored liqueur) it isn't the worst thing I've ever had. I don't know what this could mix with to be pleasant, though.

House Review
Intro:
Crown Royal Regal Apple is a whiskey liqueur seeking to recreate a strong apple flavor.
Nose:
Green jolly rancher, fake sugar, overwhelmingly fake - green tootsie pop. The nose is highly effervescent - my whole living room now smells like Ranchers.
Taste:
Thick, syrupy, rich but artificially sweet. No burn, sugar, fake apple. Disgustingly thick.
Finish:
None. Apples. No heat, very short.
Overall:
For what it is (an underproofed, heavily dosed and sweetened artificial whiskey based flavored liqueur) it isn't the worst thing I've ever had. I don't know what this could mix with to be pleasant, though. As a whiskey, this is horrid. It has to be Crown Apple.
