Distilled on June 25th 2008 and bottled in August of 2018, this single cask of sherried malt comes to us from Edradour. This bottling was produced and bottled with no coloring or filtering, and was bottled at cask strength.
Nutty, complex and rich. Brown sugar, cherry, black currant, a ton of tobacco and clove.
Moderate mouthfeel, ethanol is very much restrained on this cask. Brown sugar, toffee, blackberry, blueberry, currant and lingonberry. Big big big jammy notes.
Long finish. Complex and packed with tobacco, pepper, black currant and stewed fruits. Cherry cordial.
Surprisingly rich, complex and enjoyable for a sherried malt of this age. Rock star.
