  • Bottler:

    Found North

  • ABV:

    55.1%%

  • Age:

  • Price:

  • Intro:

Distilled in Canada and composed of stocks varying from 17 to 25 years old, this is the third batched release from up and coming blending giant Found North. Made of a final grain recipe of 64% Rye, 32% Corn and 4% Malted Barley, this release is non-chill filtered, produced without additives and yielded just shy of 3,000 bottles (2,792 bottles total). Let's dig in!

  • Nose:

Brilliantly rye forward on the nose - rye bread, brown sugar, creamy sweetness, rising bread, white pepper and a touch of orange peel.

  • Taste:

Medium mouthfeel, a touch of honey and creme brulee. Not long after, pancake syrup, cocktail bitters, orange peel, honey and vanilla bean. Zesty, spicy, powerful.

  • Finish:

Long finish, oaky, sweet and packed with rye spice, maple and brown sugar.

  • Overall:

Like an epic WhistlePig single cask, this bottling is a rye without compromise.

  • Score:

    7
