  • Intro:

Batch 002. Distilled in Canada, comprised of 80% corn, 19% rye and 1% barley, this cask strength release punches hefty at 64.9% ABV. It's matured in wheated bourbon barrels and contains no additives.

  • Nose:

Buttery and sweet, waffle batter, honey, praline, cookie dough, toffee and a faint hint of pepper. All sweet, all day.

  • Taste:

Sweet at first, robust and comes with a hefty mouthfeel. Pepper, orange peel, toffee and some cream. Then, the pepper and spice storms in. Clove, nutmeg, brown sugar.

  • Finish:

Long finish. You'd never know it's north of 64% ABV - both a pro and a con - it's dangerously drinkable. Powerful, sweet, complex.

  • Overall:

It's hard not to love this batch. It's pure dessert, powerful, and if you have a sweet tooth, it's a powerful yet easy drinker that's easy to love.
