This is a Signatory Vintage release of Glenlivet distillate that has been aged in a first fill sherry cask for 20 years. It is bottled at cask strength and received no filtering or coloring.
Cocoa, butter, pipe tobacco. Jammy fruits, toffee.
Thick and rich, but lots of heat. Toffee, tobacco, cream. Stone fruits, jammy, rich sherry. Plums, figs, cherries. Sulfur and pepper.
Long, some heat. Sulfur, pepper, tobacco, cream, cocoa and sherry. Grows bitter.
Super rich but a bit too much sulfur. I think I really prefer the 12-16 year releases of these Glenlivets in FF Sherry. This was still good, but couldn't reach as high as some of the others.
