Excerpt: Adding water snaps this Scotch into focus, integrating vanilla and spice, with an espresso midpalate and a long, mouthwatering dulce de leche fade.
Excerpt: A perfect look into how port can affect a base spirit. This is probably my favorite Glenmorangie expression to date, given that the gross Glenmo bitterness is entirely absent.

House Review
Intro:
This is a Glenmorangie expression that takes the 10yr core expression and finishes it for 2 additional years in a ruby port cask. It also gets a slight bump in proof, much like the Lasanta.
Medium mouth feel. Sweet honey. Figs, currants, blackberry. Jammy and sweet. No heat. Really quite nice.
Finish:
Short but lots of sweetness and fruits here. No burn, no signature Glenmo bitterness. Really quite nice.
Overall:
A perfect look into how port can affect a base spirit. This is probably my favorite Glenmorangie expression to date, given that the gross Glenmo bitterness is entirely absent.
