Excerpt: I’ll give it that this definitely is different from nearly any Irish whiskey I’ve had. The wine influence is interesting, but ultimately a bit straightforward with sweetness on the palate and finish. I can’t get over the weird sour/mint dynamic with fruit on the nose though.
