Raided Score: 88 Publication: The Whiskey Jug Excerpt: The only thing it’s missing is that oomph, that bourbon X factor to push it up and over the line. Read Full Review Raided Score: 75 Publication: The Whiskey Wash Excerpt: It tastes like the inside of your mouth after a good night’s sleep during which you’ve drooled on the pillow only a little. In my opinion, it is so not worth the $75 you’d have to shell out for it. Read Full Review Raided Score: 94 Publication: Distiller Excerpt: A long satisfying finish with fresh mint, orange peel, milk chocolate and toasted almonds ends things nicely. Read Full Review Raided Score: 88 Publication: Breaking Bourbon Excerpt: For most, I.W. Harper 15 Year will probably be in the “I like it” category, followed by a “it costs too much” conclusion. Read Full Review Raided Score: 88 Publication: Whisky Advocate Excerpt: Great medium-weight body and balance, palate repeats the nose, oaky-sweet finish; well-integrated whiskey. But my eyes pop at the price. Read Full Review Raided Score: 87 Publication: WhiskyCast Excerpt: The finish is long and smooth with gently fading spices and a touch of oak. Read Full Review Raided Score: 70 Publication: Whiskey Consensus Excerpt: I wish the palate would have been a little more complex, and would not have left such unpleasant flavors on the finish. Read Full Review Raided Score: 91 Publication: Drinkhacker Excerpt: There’s heat at first, but this settles down into supple sweetness and a finish that’s surprisingly gentle for a 15 year old bourbon. Ultimately it’s quite balanced and delightful — and well worth sampling. Delightfully retro decanter, too. Read Full Review Raided Score: 91 Publication: Modern Thirst Excerpt: Medium in length, there are plenty of tannins and new oak on the finish with a hint of cloves and baking spices. Read Full Review Raided Score: 85 Publication: Whiskey Raiders Excerpt: It's not massively complex but its actually pretty well made. I like it. There's some nice balance between the sweetness and the more earthy/savory notes. Not at all over oaked. Read Full Review

Sweet honey, cloves, vanilla and caramel. Deep earthy tobacco.
Medium mouth feel with no heat. Sweet corn, rich vanilla. Honey, tobacco and clove. Not too sweet, not too earthy. Some faint banana.
Medium length, nice clove and spice notes. Some sweetness here also from the caramel.
It's not massively complex but its actually pretty well made. I like it. There's some nice balance between the sweetness and the more earthy/savory notes. Not at all over oaked.
