Excerpt: Usually at this price point the finish is the first to drop off or be harsh, but this one was real nice and that’s what helps it be a fine sipper for me. For $12 though, it’s plenty great of a value.
Excerpt: I was hesitant to post this review for fear, as Matt poetically put it, of pissing off all the old men in liquor stores by bringing attention to their beloved J.T.S. Brown Bottled in Bond. But this is a bourbon deserving of a little attention…just not too much I suppose.
Excerpt: The body is somewhat thin, but it carries cinnamon and a little toffee, plenty of gentle spice, and just the right amount of heat. On the finish, the cinnamon gives way to fading dark cherry notes.
