  • Intro:

Pulled from a lot of Stitzel Weller barrels, this 18yr release from Jefferson's lives in infamy to many bourbon drinkers chasing this particular whale. Bottled at 47% ABV and well aged, let's see if it stands up to the test of time and hype.

  • Nose:

Thick, dank, rich cola, cherry cordial, rich amaretto. Powerful, opulent nose.

  • Taste:

Sweet cream, caramel and butterscotch, cherry cola, toffee. Sweet, layered. Moderate to rich viscosity, no perceptible ethanol, it’s a cornucopia of old, dusty, dank flavors that delight.

  • Finish:

Long, pecan pie finish. Cherry cordial candies, toffee, butterscotch, candied pecans. Rich, dank, tobacco driven. Simply opulent.

  • Overall:

Incredible, and absolutely deserving of the hype these random barrels of the expression received.
