  • Intro:

Distilled by Heaven Hill, Larceny Barrel Proof A123 is a barrel-proof bottling of the brand's flagship wheated bourbon mashbill product. This is the first of three releases in 2023 under the Larceny Barrel Proof line released to stores across the country. This batch is bottled at a healthy 125.8 proof.

  • Nose:

Beautiful caramel, waffle cone, honey, toffee and a dash of cake batter. Touch of cinnamon, clove and a zip of ginger and brown sugar.

  • Taste:

Rich on the palate, syrupy and viscous. Maple, caramel candies, a prickle of ethanol and cherry cordials. Some apple butter, lovely sweetness.

  • Finish:

Long finish, it’s spicy and rich, maple driven and oh so savory and satisfying. Cola, root beer, cinnamon spice and maple all day long.

  • Overall:

This is a hitter of a release, a very strong start to 2023 for Larceny and its barrel-proof releases. Wonderful stuff.
