Excerpt: While PX Sherry Cask finished bourbons can be over-the-top, Rabbit Hole manages to deliver a well-balanced experience that’s quite delicious. Dareringer is full of sweet fruit notes, but manages to hold to its bourbon base with flavors of caramel and oak weaving in and out.
Excerpt: On the palate, full-bodied, moderately sweet and appealingly spicy, massively and dangerously quaffable. Its subtlety belies its strength, and it's a total winner.
Excerpt: Adding in a touch of water or ice cube really helps release the flavors of this finished bourbon. I wanted more of a finish but the minimal dryness allowed me to continue sipping.

House Review
Intro:
Produced by Rabbit Hole in Kentucky and finished in PX Sherry casks, this finished bourbon release clocks in at 46.5% ABV with no age statement.
Nose:
Jammy and sweet on the nose, plenty of cocoa, clove and caramel to keep things balanced.
Taste:
Medium mouthfeel, some caramel, praline and plenty of juicy fruits. Cherry, blackberry, currant and a hint of peach, the PX is clear to find in the palate.
Finish:
Medium length finish, no heat, more PX goodness. Caramel, praline, jammy sweetness on the finish once more.
Overall:
With one caveat - you need to have a little bit of a sweet tooth - Rabbit Hole’s Dareringer is a well composed sherry finished bourbon. It’s not too sweet, it’s not artificial, and it manages the difficult job of balancing PX quite well.
