Excerpt: I do enjoy the silky/oily texture, the bold resinous oak spice grip on the finish, and the rich nutty toffee, fig, black raspberry, chocolaty, chewy nougat throughout the palate. Still, it’s not as eminently drinkable, refined, or balanced as the 12 year old.
Excerpt: Made with a combination of malted and unmalted barley, this 15-year-old builds on the beautiful flavors of the 12-year-old version, adding big, mouth-filling caramel tones, a spicy finish and a velvety feel.
Excerpt: Complex and loaded with enjoyable flavor, Redbreast 15yr is an exercise in complexity and avoiding big, boisterous flavors. This just works, and it's delightful, but it's a dram to spend a little time with.

Wow - really complex nose. Cinnamon buns - sweet sticky icing, some cinnamon, brown butter, cream. Light pepper note to it before big peach cobbler notes arise. Sweet buttercream.
Sweet on the palate. Moderate mouthfeel. Hint of cracked pepper before sweet jammy fruit notes and malt pop up. Honey, praline, peach and currant. Lots going on.
Long finish. Sweet and complex - that cinnamon bun characteristic is back along with honey, more peach and a lovely praline character.
