  • Excerpt: This is a big, bold crush of a whiskey. There’s nothing subtle or unusual, here, but a real Granddaddy Bourbon that wouldn’t be out of place in any glass – neat after work, over ice with a pal in the study, or as the base of a super old-fashioned.

  • Excerpt: I’ve referred to Russell’s Reserve 10 year as an amazing “session whiskey” a lot over the last few years due to it’s ease to drink and its ability to provide enough interesting flavors to ruminate over.

  • Excerpt: It’s a robust bourbon that’s as comforting as a big warm hug… unless you don’t like hugs. In which case it’s as comforting as something else that you do (like a great bourbon perhaps).
