Excerpt: Full-bodied on the palate, with spicy smoke, dark chocolate, peaches, and Jaffa orange; the additional fruitiness courtesy of the amoroso cask influence. Long and softly smoky in the finish, with ginger and lingering fruit notes.
Excerpt: This is a lovely, diverse dram that I find I enjoy far more than the regular ten year old expression. The blend of nutty, sweet, briny and smoky with a faint fruity essence is refreshing and delicious.
