    13 Years

  • Intro:

This is a single cask from Glenrothes, matured in sherry.

  • Nose:

Honey and leather. Big sherry, tobacco, custard, stewed fruits and caramel.

  • Taste:

Medium mouthfeel, nice nuttiness. Caramel, vanilla, butter cream, stewed fruits. Its really rich and sweet.

  • Finish:

Long with some heat - pepper and tobacco make an appearance here. Nutty caramel, cream and some funky sherry sulfur.

  • Overall:

Really pretty impressive. This profile is so similar to GlenDronach, it's really interesting. It's like a GlenDronach Single Cask Lite. In a good way.
