  • Excerpt: While it’s a pushy whiskey uncut and at full proof, it mixes well and keeps its fruity sweetness emblazoned right on its sleeve. Give it time in glass to settle down, and it showcases some its charms — as well as its impressive value.

  • Excerpt: It's a solid bourbon with a very respectable 101-proof bottling, and although it's a bit young, it portends good things to come.

  • Excerpt: I think a few fruit notes could have balanced this pour a touch more, but I’m not upset with that. At about $30, when I want a caramel bomb to sip on this is the bottle I’ll be grabbing.

  • Intro:

Distilled by OZ Tyler, this bottling is the joint work of the distillery and Latitude Beverage. Containing a blend of 2-4 year bourbon, I'm pleased it's bottled at 50.5% ABV with no filtering. There's rumors of a single barrel program on the horizon as well. Curious.

  • Nose:

Not super complex on the nose, but there’s some brown sugar, a hint of toffee. Light graham cracker.

  • Taste:

Sweet on the palate - almond, brown sugar, some sweet oak. Lacking youthful must or weird young notes which is great. Impressive oak character as well.

  • Finish:

Short finish, but plenty of caramel, some toffee, clove and pepper.

  • Overall:

For a bourbon this young, this is seriously impressive. Well on it’s way to becoming something very solid while already performing well.

  • Score:
