Excerpt: From what I've seen, they are focused on making good things available for a reasonable price and I don't mean that in a bad way. Sometimes it is simply better to keep things straight forward instead of trying to be the next big thing.
Excerpt: The palate opens with rich helping of bread crust and caramel and ends with a strong ginger note, coating evenly from front to back. Good choice in a Manhattan.
Excerpt: My suggestion is the next time you need another rye to stock your bar, pick up a bottle of Wheel Horse Rye. You really can’t go wrong with rye at this price, especially when it’s this tasty!

House Review
Intro:
Produced with a 95% rye mashbill, this little number comes to us from OZ Tyler in conjunction with Latitude Beverage. A blend of 2 and 3 year rye, this is bottled at 50.5% ABV with no filtering. Let's dive in.
Nose:
Honey, citrus zest, some clove. Orange peel.
Taste:
A little young. Lots of sweet cream, caramel, a hint of pepper. Not super complex.
Finish:
Short and a bit hot on the finish. No signs of youth or must Tons of promise here.
Overall:
Impressed once again. I don’t love this as much the bourbon, but it’s starting in a great place.
Score:
