Excerpt: A tasty rye and one that will please those that prefer their whiskeys to be on the bittersweet rather than the full on sweet side. Another classic from Wild Turkey.
Excerpt: Luckily given its high price tag, Cornerstone checks all the boxes that I look for in this style of whiskey while wearing its Wild Turkey punchiness on its sleeves. Although expensive, this limited release Rye Whiskey is a bottle that’s worth the price tag.

House Review
Intro:
This annual entry in Wild Turkeys Master's Keep line is finally a rye from Turkey. Distilled from a barely legal rye mashbill, and bottled at 54.5% ABV, this 9ish year rye has been long awaited. Let's see how it is.
Nose:
Baking spices, peach rings, clove, apple pie and rich toffee. No real heat on the nose.
Taste:
Sweet, rich. Honey, peach rings, apple. Nice clove, some complex oak structure. Good body, a bit of heat. Vanilla, some pepper. Medium mouth feel.
Finish:
Short, but a bit hot. Some oak, nice pepper, peach and apple pie. Fruity and clove forward.
Overall:
Overall, this is very nice. Straying more closely to a fruity, clove forward rye, this expression clearly forsakes being oak forward in favor of the other two. I think this is all good things.
