Excerpt: I imagine it would be yummy mixed into an adult milkshake with pumpkin and caramel, or paired with some warm apple cider and sweet pumpkin pie spices.
Excerpt: There's a bit going on here and all of it is pleasant. Woodford isn't typically the place that one looks for a wheated whiskey, but this could duke it out with other wheated favorites like OWA and Bernheim with ease.

House Review
Intro:
Produced with a 52% wheat mashbill, Woodford Reserve boasts a 4 grain recipe in the release of their Wheat Whiskey.
Nose:
Honey, pears, dole fruit syrup and other lively, fruity sweets.
Taste:
Sweet apple crisp, honey, and some cinnamon. Light, fruity, with a hint of cream and clove.
Finish:
Short finish, sweet once again with peach rings, honey, a hint of cocoa and some drying oak.
Overall:
There's a bit going on here and all of it is pleasant. Woodford isn't typically the place that one looks for a wheated whiskey, but this could duke it out with other wheated favorites like OWA and Bernheim with ease.
